Built in 1932, in its prime the Okuno Building was the home of renowned poet, Yaso Saijo, in its modern apartment days. Today it embodies a retro feel and features various establishments, particularly galleries. The pre-WWII modern apartment buildings have been converted into a contemporary art gallery complex.
