Located in Ehime JAPAN, #Garyusanso was built in the Meiji period (1868-1912) as a private villa by the trader Kouchi. It has been awarded one star in the #MichelinGreenGuideJapon and is highly regarded abroad for its beautiful #sukiyaarchitecture . The "Furo-an" in the photo was designed to look like a ship, jutting out into the Hijikawa River. The emerald green water and the red autumn leaves are a wonderful combination. We also happened to drop in for lunch at #GaryuBrewing ,which is really lovely!
